Animation of another kind

Created with artist Tuomas Laitinen in the Reality Research Center in Helsinki 2010, as part of a series of 12 etudes on eternal life. In a tiny room in an office compartment a shrine was built to inhabit an immortal creature: a 300 years old bread root. The root is being sacrificed water and flour, and it continuously gives life to new breads and new people.
